GenAI Engineer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)

Role Overview
My client, a Dublin based Insurance Company is seeking an experienced GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable AI systems that generate content, insights, or code, driving innovation and automation across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models and applications

• Build end-to-end AI pipelines, including data preparation, model training, and deployment

• Integrate GenAI capabilities into production systems and applications

• Monitor and optimize model performance, reliability, and scalability

• Implement best practices in model governance, testing, and version control

• Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation

• Document solutions and share knowledge with cross-functional teams

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a GenAI, AI, or ML Engineer

• Strong programming skills in Python or equivalent

• Experience with generative AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., OpenAI API, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, GCP AI Platform)

• Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and SQL/noSQL databases

• Experience deploying, monitoring, and optimizing AI models

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
